Zimmerman And Yarke Leading Men’s Club Fall League

The Pebble Creek Men’s Club started their fall league recently and Doug Zimmerman and Wayne Yarke have surged to the lead after three weeks of play.
 
The fall league is a two person, best ball, nine-hole event where a player’s best seven-of-eight weekly scores count for total standings.  
 
Zimmerman and Yarke have stormed out of the gates, posting the lowest score each of the first three weeks and currently lead the league with a minus 13.
 
They lead the field by three strokes.   
 
Tied for second at -10 under are the teams of Mark Bertrum/Greg Konerza and Andy Veller/Rick Torkela.
 
The fall league also recognizes an individual MVP at season’s end. The leaders through three weeks are Mark Bertrum (6.5 points); Jerry Vetch (six points);  Barry Ashmore (5.75 points); Wayne Yarke (five points);  Rick Torkela and Zimmerman (two points) and eight golfers with less than one point.
