Members of the Becker youth wrestling team took second place in the 15 team Stillwater Stampede last Sunday. 

 

Wayzata captured first with a score 249.5, Becker second with a score of 177.5 and St. Michael/Albertville took third with 141. Teams earned points based on wins, pins, tech falls and majors. 

 

Besides taking the second place trophy, the Becker team also had 10 individual place winners. Jacob Williams was the 50-lb. champion. Nick Killian placed sixth in the 55-lb. bracket. Bennett Kujawa took second in the 60-lb. bracket. 

 

In the 65-lb. bracket, Isaac Deluge placed fourth. Kaden Nicolas took third in the 75-lb. bracket. Cash Stortz was fifth place in the 80-lb. bracket. Owen Angell took fifth in the 84-lb. bracket. 

 

Kaden Rish was the champion of the 88-lb. bracket. Jake Rosenow took sixth in the 93-lb. bracket. Colton Miller took fourth in the 130-lb. bracket. Lance Lysdal was fifth in the heavyweight bracket. 

 

Other team wrestlers included Evan Cox, Landon Kujawa and Roman Siefert.

 

The Bulldogs are coached by Luke Fox, Tim Kujawa and Matt Kuschel.
