The Becker Bulldogs Archery team continues to find success as the season progresses, turning in strong performances across multiple tournaments while showcasing the depth and talent throughout the program.
The Bulldogs opened this stretch of competition at the Foley “Nocked and Loaded” Tournament in late January, where 206 Becker archers competed. The team saw outstanding improvement, with 75 archers recording personal best scores in bullseye and 29 archers shooting personal bests in 3D competition.
The Becker High School bullseye team earned a second-place finish, led by strong individual performances from Jon Rehberg, who placed second with a score of 285, along with Isabelle Meyer (sixth), MaKenna Hanson (seventh), and Landon Blum (ninth).
In 3D competition, MaKenna Hanson placed fourth, while Leland Mohler and Sam Lumley also earned top-10 finishes, helping Becker secure a third-place team finish.
Becker carried that momentum into the LILA Dragons Lair Tournament in Forest Lake, where 75 Bulldogs took the line. The team saw continued improvement as 19 archers achieved personal best scores.
Top individual finishes included MaKenna Hanson placing fifth in high school bullseye, Reid Hanson capturing first place in middle school bullseye with a score of 295, and the elementary division earning strong team results.
In 3D competition, MaKenna Hanson led the way with a first-place finish, while Quinn Williams and Leland Mohler added top-10 finishes. Reid Hanson also turned in a strong performance with a fifth-place finish in middle school 3D.
The Bulldogs followed with another impressive showing at the Milaca “The Hunt” Tournament on Feb. 9. The high school bullseye team placed third overall, highlighted by MaKenna Hanson’s first-place finish with a score of 286. Additional top performers included Ayden Trautner (6th) and Leland Mohler (9th).
In the middle school division, Brynn Kasper placed third, while Blake Koubsky and Reid Hanson also secured top-10 finishes. Alexis Vilmo led the elementary team with a second-place finish, with Drake Dowty, Elliott Borchardt, and Charlie Trautner also finishing in the top 10.
In 3D competition at Milaca, Sam Lumley earned a second-place high school finish, while Hanson placed fourth and Quinn Williams added a sixth-place finish. Ethan Luethmers also secured a top-10 placement. Brynn Kasper continued her strong weekend by placing fourth in middle school 3D, while Marra Kasper and Alexis Vilmo earned top elementary finishes.
The Bulldogs also sent archers to compete at the New Prague Tournament, where Presley Seiler led Becker’s elementary competitors with a ninth-place finish while several archers recorded personal best scores.
With strong leadership from veteran archers and continued growth from younger competitors, the Becker Bulldogs are building momentum as they head into upcoming competitions. The program continues to demonstrate its strength across all age divisions while developing the next generation of archers.
