A strong show of community support filled the room during the retirement open house on Feb. 8, honoring Chief Ron Koren. Family, friends, and fellow firefighters came together to celebrate his years of dedicated service.

Firefighters attended from within the department, as well as neighboring counties, reflecting the wide reach of Chief Koren’s impact and the respect he earned throughout his career. The event was filled with great food, shared stories, and countless memories as attendees reconnected and reminisced about moments spent working alongside Ron.
