EIGHTH-GRADER BRAYDEN WEBER had a superb wrestling season competing at 160-lbs. Weber was one of several Bulldog wrestlers recognized for their achievements at Thursday’s annual banquet.

Wrestlers Honored At Annual Banquet

The Becker Bulldog wrestling team held their end-of-the-season banquet Thursday to celebrate another successful year.
 
Sixteen wrestlers were named, Most Dedicated and they include: Colten Demant, Josh Lumley, Jaylin Hildebrandt, Blake Paulson, Kevin Andres, Logan Jurek, Mikey James, Alex Berglund, Braeden Beutz, Lincoln Carlson, Nick Goth, John Stangler, Reid Tripp, Reid Kraus, Lukas Paulson and Brayden Weber.
 
All-Conference awards went to: Jake Nelson, Lukas Paulson, Colten Demant and Jaylin Hildebrandt.  
 
Letter Winners were: Scott Braun, Kelli Lumley, Nick Radunz, Nick Goth, Jake Nelson, Caden Dewall, Kylen Rish, Brayden Weber, Lukas Paulson, Kevin Andres, Jacob Berning, Mikey James, Logan Jurek, Brenton Arbuckle, Blake Paulson, Adam Bauman, Austin Benkowski, Colten Demant, Jaylin Hildebrandt, Josh Lumley, Alli Zimmer, Megan Dudek, Avery Tamm and Reese Arbuckle.
 
Rookie-of-the-year went to Jake Nelson.
 
Most Improved on JV went to Reid Kraus.
 
Most Improved on varsity went to Mikey James and Nick Radunz.
 
Most Outstanding for JV went to Lincoln Carlson.
 
Most Outstanding for varsity went to Jaylin Hildebrandt.
 
The team’s Scholar Athlete was Blake Paulson with a 4.0 GPA.
 
The team won a Silver GPA award for having a cumulative 3.356 GPA.
 
Jake Nelson tallied the most team points with 140. He also had the most wins (28) and was tied for most pins (16) with Nick Radunz. Nelson also had the most N3s.
 
Colten Demant had the most takedowns (82) on the team and Mikey James the most N2s. James also tied Blake Paulson for the most E1s.
 
Kylen Rish was honored for having the most reversals for the team.
