The Becker Bulldog wrestling team captured two wins this past week, beating Milaca-Faith Christian Friday and Rocori Tuesday.

 

Becker 37, MFC 25

The Bulldogs rushed out to a 21-0 lead after four matches with two pins, a forfeit and a close decision. Milaca-Faith Christian got a win at 132-lbs., then Becker rolled out two more wins to lead 27-3 at the halfway point of their match at home last Friday night.

 

MFC got wins in five of the last eight matches, but Becker prevailed by 12.

Becker 36, Rocori 31

In a thrilling wrestling match Tuesday in Rocori, the Bulldogs pulled out a huge win over the Central Lakes Conference Rocori Spartans.

 

The Bulldogs got three wins in the first four matches to go up 18-3, but Rocori rebounded with three wins in the next four matches to bring the score to 21-18, Becker leading.

 

Two pins in the last six matches and a tight, 4-2 overtime win at heavyweight, gave the Bulldogs the narrow win.
