The Becker Bulldog girls soccer team fell to 1-2 on the season with a loss to Cambridge Isanti Tuesday night.
Becker began the 2016 campaign last Thursday by beating Big Lake, 4-0 in a Zimmerman Tournament.
Saturday, the Bulldogs took on Monticello in the continuation of the tournament and lost 8-2.
Tuesday, the Bulldogs hosted their first match of the year and lost 3-2 to the Bluejackets. Maddy Corey scored the first goal of the game off a superb Heidi Voigt assist.
Voigt scored the second goal and at halftime, the host team was up 2-1.
The Bluejackets tightened their defense and found a little more room on the pitch in the second half and outscored the Bulldogs 2-0 to take the win.
Cambridge got goals from Elaina Cox (2) and Madelyn Skelton. Kristena King and Trist Betz each tallied one assist.
