FRESHMAN ALLIE HENDRICKSON took fourth place in the 3200 run with a time of 12:16.66.
SENIOR LUKE LAHR scored 21 points for his team in the 3200 race, placing second.
EIGHTH-GRADER VICTORIA KOLBINGER achieved a personal record in the 3200 at Sartell Tuesday.
JUNIOR Keith Sorenson ran well in the 3200 for the boys track team.

Track Teams Finish In Sixth And Seventh In True Team Event

The Becker boys and girls track teams traveled to Sartell Tuesday for a Section 5AA True Team track meet.  
 
Becker Boys Varsity
Becker finished in seventh place out of 11 teams, scoring 355.5 points.  Sartell won the meet with 642 points and will move on to the state meet held next weekend at Stillwater high school.
 
Top performers for Becker were Luke Lahr, scoring 21 points in both the 1600 and 3200, placing second in each event.  Andrew Davalos scored 20 points for the team with a third place finish in the 400 and was part of the 4x200 relay team along with Matthew Davalos, Kevin Andres and Sydney Boros, who placed fourth and added 24 points for our team score.  
 
The 4x100 team of Bhavin Bhakta, Conner Huebner, Logan Andersen and Colton Demant ran their fastest time of the year at 47.16 and gained 18 team points with a sixth place finish.  
 
Tanner Neidenfeuhr added 32 individual points by finishing eighth and sixth in the 110 high hurdles and the 300 intermediate hurdles.
 
Dillon Radunz contributed 40 points for the Bulldog score in the shot and disc by placing second in the shot with a personal best of 48'5.5" and fourth in the discus.  
 
Becker Boys JV
The JV boys team competed in a Princeton JV invitational meet Thursday where they finished in second place, scoring a 151.833 points.  
 
Winning the meet was Big Lake with 188 points.  
 
“This was a fun meet to get some of our athletes some extra competition due to missing four meets this year because of weather,” said Head Coach Paul Schmidt.  “We had many personal bests on the year.”
William Schedell continues to improve in the pole vault and the high jump where he placed first and third with personal bests of 10' in the pole vault and 5'4" in the high jump.  
 
Ethan Holm had his best triple jump of the season at 32' 10", giving him eighth place, The shot putters took second, third and fourth with Brady Roesler going 35'8", Dawson Thom 35' 2" and Ryan Nohner 33' 8".  
 
Roesler also placed third in the disc with 92' 8.5".  
 
Brady Scheeley won the triple jump with a leap of 38'2.25" and Dylan Laudenbach placed second in the 200 with a time of 25.74.  
 
Parker Friedman continues to improve in the 400 by placing second with a personal best time of 58.41.  Brettt Parson also finished second in the 800 at 2:21.12 and Matt Davalos finished third.  
 
Keith Sorenson ran his best time of the year in the 3200 and won that event at 11:51.31 and Johnathan Novak won the 1600 with a 5:07 time.  
 
Luke Pappenfus placed fourth in both the 110 and 300 hurdle events and Becker’s 4x400 team also took first place.  Michael Bloss placed fourth in the 200 and Blake Paulson placed fifth in the 100.  
 
The JV will get another chance to compete next Thursday in the Granite Ridge JV Conference meet in Albany.
 
Becker Girls Varsity
The weather Tuesday was “okay”, according to Head Coach Trish Reimer-Kealy as far as temperature but the “wind hampered performances for all competitors a bit.”
 
The True Team concept was started by the track coaches association as a way to measure the true team strength instead of those teams with a few outstanding individuals. Each team is allowed two entries per event and one relay and each person receives a score. 
 
Becker’s girls placed sixth out of the 11 teams participating. 
 
“Despite the windy conditions, there was great competition and we managed a few personal record performances,” said Reimer-Kealy. 
 
Personal records were chalked up by: Alli Hendrickson in the 1600, Victoria Kolbinger in the 3200 and Aubree Lahr in 300 hurdles. Hannah Schmidt tied her high jump personal record. 
 
There were season-best performances by Madi Kerzman in the discus, Haley Hubbard in the triple jump and Schmidt in the 200.
 
The relays all had very good handoffs for the day as well.
 
Top 10 placers for Becker were: 100 meters - Schmidt 13.94 (fifth); 200 meters - Schmidt 28.50 (10th); 800 meters - Lexi Dehmer 2:33.76 (fifth); 1600 meters - Lexi Dehmer 5:35.93 (fourth), Alli Hendrickson 5:37.61 (fifth); 3200 meters - Alli Hendrickson 12:18.66 (fourth).
 
100 hurdles - Sam Angell 18.11 (10th); 300 hurdles -  Aubree Lahr 51.05 (sixth),  Angell 52.19 (ninth); 4x100 relay Hubbard, Severson, M. O’Brien, Sydow 56.71 (ninth); 4x200 relay - Stommes, Angell, Manifold, Cox  1:53.34 (fourth); 4x400 relay - Lahr, Dehmer, Garding, Manifold  4:33.24 (eighth); 4x800 relay -  Garding, Rositas, Westin, Kolbinger 10:57.56 (eighth).
