The Becker Bulldog boys tennis team played two matches this week, one at home against Duluth East Friday and one on the road against Aitkin.
Duluth East 5, Becker 2
The boys lost to Duluth East last Friday by a score of 5-2. No other information was made available to the Citizen-Tribune by press time.
Becker 4, Aitkin 3
“We had a great match last night (Tuesday) up in Aitkin, finishing under the lights with a great first singles match,” said Head Coach Hokan Bengtson.
The highlight of the night was the #2 doubles team of Andrew Schneider and Johnny Crocker, who won a key match in three sets. They lost the first set 3-6 and then went on to win 6-1, 6-2 to clinch the match victory 4-3.

#1 doubles: CJ Howard and Tyler Lindquist (BB) win over Franklin Real and Nathan Hagestuen (AG), 6-2, 6-1; #2 doubles: Schneider and Crocker (BB) win over Nathan Davies and Jacob Hagestuen (AG), 3-6, 6-1, 6-2; #3 doubles: Lucas Dertinger and Caleb Quernemoen (BB) loss to Jaren Johnson and David Curtiss (AG), 1-6, 2-6.
