Swimmers And Divers Lose Two This Week

The Becker swim and dive team lost two matches this past week.
 
Albany 62, Becker 40
 
Thursday, Becker traveled to Albany to take on the Huskies and lost by 22 points.
 
“Tough loss in Albany,” said Head Coach Tina Tamm. “We had a number of girls out with sickness and/ or injury which affected the outcome of the meet.”  
 
Becker’s first place finishers for the night included Jade Erson in the 200 IM, Macy Erson in the 50 freestyle, Emi Quill in diving, Emma Lefebvre in the 100 backstroke and Macy Erson, Emily Lipinski, Lefebvre and Jade Erson in the 400 freestyle relay.
 
The Bulldogs are now 1-1 in Granite Ridge Conference after Thursday’s loss.
 
Big Lake 97, Becker 81
 
Tuesday, Becker hosted the Hornets of Big Lake and lost by 16.
 
In the 200 medley relay,  Lefebvre, Jade Erson, Melody Swanson, Macy Erson took home second place.
 
Becker also took second and third place in the 200 freestyle with Andrea Molus and Macy Erson carrying the team.
 
Jade Erson and Nicole Larrison took home second and third in the 50 freestyle event.
 
Quill took second in diving.
 
Paige Roesler took home third place in 500 freestyle event.
 
Lefebvre and Macy Erson took home first and second place in the 100 backstroke.
 
Jalissa Johnson and Emily Skelton also took home first and second places in the 100 breast
