Big Lake woman hurt in crash

A Big Lake woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday, Oct. 4, in Bock.

At about 9:55 a.m., the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a collision on Hwy. 23 near Wall Avenue.

According to the State Patrol, 62-year-old Kathie Robideau of Big Lake was driving a 2017 Ford Escape when it struck a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 83-year-old Robert Collison of Milaca.

Investigators said Collison was attempting to cross Hwy. 23 from Ivy Road to Wall Avenue when the vehicles collided.

Robideau sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton for treatment. The Milaca man was not injured, according to the report.

Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, Milaca Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
