The BL Hornet swim and dive team competed at the True Team section tournament in Becker last week and topped everyone’s expectations.

Last year, Big Lake placed sixth and notched three top eight finishes and no relays in the top eight. This year, Big lake placed fifth and garnered five top eight finishes and three relays in the top eight!

Congrats go out to Big Lake’s top eight finishers including: Emmelia Kortenkamp -- eighth - 200 IM; Emily Edlund - fourth - 50 FR; Abigail Fridgen - fifth - 50 FR; Emily Edlund - fourth - 100 FL; Abigail Fridgen - seventh - 100 FR; 200 FR Relay - fifth- Charlotte Overby, Abigail Fridgen, Adelyn Fox and Emily Edlund; 400 FR Relay - seventh- Charlotte Overby, Maia Wenderski, Aimee Lu and Madelyn Fridgen; 400 FR Relay - fifth - Emily Edlund, Piper Fridgen, Adelyn Fox and Abigail Fridgen.
