The Becker Bulldog girls swimming and diving teams finished two points behind the host Huskies of Albany Thursday.

Emi Quill continued on her exceptional diving career and now has a winning streak going in to the True Team meet this weekend in Becker.
“We have reached the last few weeks of the regular season and are gearing up to start training for the section meet in November,” said Head Coach Tina Tamm.
Tamm has 17 girls (as of now) who will continue on past the regular season.
Tamm said Thursday her athletes had some dropped times (new season best times) including Maddie Thorn, who dropped three seconds off her 200M freestyle event and three seconds off her 100M backstroke.
Hailey Eriksson dropped a half-a-second off her 100M freestyle swim.
Jalissa Johnson dropped seven seconds off of her 500M freestyle event.
Melody Swanson dropped four seconds off her 500M freestyle contest and Avery Tamm dropped one second off her 100M breaststroke.

The Bulldogs have one regular season meet left against Foley Tuesday before they start training for the Section 5A tournament that begins Nov. 10-11.
This weekend, the True Team diving competition begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and swimming competition begins at 1 p.m.
