Becker’s Alex Stanz was named to the St. Cloud Times’ All-Area Golf Team this week as his team captured fourth place Wednesday in Brainerd.
Jackson Fluck was named to the Times’ honorable mention team.
David Schneider of Albany earned medalist honors at the Cragun’s Resort Invitational, shooting a 71 and leading his team to a first-place finish.
Max Labinc of St. Cloud Cathedral and Landon Bjorge of Little Falls each shot a 78, tying for fourth as the two teams tied for second place.

Stanz, a sophomore, took eighth in the Pre-Section 6AA meet; tied for Granite Ridge Conference title; took 11th at East-West Classic; tied for fourth at St. Cloud Country Club Invitational; tied for medalist honors twice in conference play.

Today (Saturday), the Bulldogs are at Blackberry Ridge to participate in the Section 6AA Golf Tournament. Sections continue Monday and Tuesday at the same venue with teams and individuals advancing to state the following week at Ridges of Sand Creek in Jordan.
