The Becker Bulldog girls swimming and diving team traveled to Milaca for a dual meet Thursday.
While they had several good swims, they lost by 30 points, 107-77.
Sarah Schmidt dropped 10.56 seconds off her previous time in her 100M backstroke event. Sophia Diaz dropped 10 seconds on her 500M freestyle swim. Jalissa Johnson shaved 8.5 seconds off her best time in her 500M freestyle event.
Johnson also qualified for the section meet in her first attempt for the season at the 200M freestyle swim.
“While the season record doesn't show wins, we are right on track to have a great section meet,” said Head Coach Tina Tamm. “We are just about to head in to the second half of the season and they are working hard.”
“They're tired and worn out but in the right spot to have a great post regular season.”

The Bulldogs will be swimming at the Milaca Invite Saturday and Sunday, then return home next week to continue to practice hard in preparation for St. Cloud Cathedral/St. John's Prep Thursday in their home pool.
