The Becker Bulldogs swimming and diving teams hosted the Granite Ridge Conference Championship meet last Saturday.
Foley won the meet that included teams from Albany, Little Falls, Milaca, Mora and St, Cloud Cathedral.
Becker Head Coach Tina Tamm said her girls had a great meet.
“We had the girls do a mini taper before this meet to let them drop some time to get them ready for the seeding in the section meet,” she said. “We had some really good time drops which should set the girls up nicely sections.
Emi Quill became the GRC champion for diving. She also broke the conference diving record that was set by Beka Stone (Foley) last year.
“She continues to perfect her dives and should do great things at the section meet next weekend,” said Tamm.
Other Becker athletes who reached the podium Saturday were:

• Diving - Emi Quill - first place and GRC all conference;
