The Pebble Creek Women’s Club (PCWC) collected 30 “Birthday Bags” for the Becker Food Shelf — along with cash donations — this past Tuesday, after a summer shot-gun event. 

 

Birthday Bags include cake mix, frosting, candles, decorative plates, and napkins in a birthday bag so the birthday celebration is ready to go. This is part of the greater initiative of “Pebble Creek Cares” as the golfers and club members increase efforts in giving back to the community. 

 

The women’s club enjoyed cupcakes Tuesday, provided by “Baked by Arleigh”, owned by Arleigh Pudlick, 14, who will be a freshman at Becker High School this fall. Arleigh has been baking and selling cupcakes for two years and they have been featured at graduation parties, birthday parties, baby showers and other holiday events. 

 

“I love making cupcakes because I enjoy the creative aspects of decorating and coming up with different flavor creations,” said Arleigh.
