The Duelm Lions club hosted their 4th Annual Senior Appreciation Valentine’s Luncheon on February 14 at St. Lawrence Church Hall. 

Approximately 140 guests and 27 home delivered meals were served by Lion members working side-by-side with Duelm 4-H members. The seniors were especially delighted to see the fresh young faces of the Duelm 4-Hers who brightened the already warm sunny day. 

Lion members, Jack and Jim’s Restaurant and Deb Bialke enhanced the event with festive decor. Students from Foley Elementary School, SJAS, and St. Lawrence religious education classes put artistic skills and loving sentiments together on the pretty Valentine cards which paired nicely with the roses as a takeaway after the lasagna meal. 

The Duelm Lions holds the event to confirm their commitment to serve their community and show their respect and gratitude and to honor those with the most wisdom.
