The newly-formed Princeton/Becker/Big Lake girls 12U hockey co-op team captured first place last weekend at the Owatonna Youth Hockey Tournament. The 16-player team won all four games they played and continue to be a force to be reckoned with in District 10.
The team is lead by head coaches Nate Cook and Travis Leonard.
This is the first year in which Princeton and Becker/Big Lake youth hockey had decided to join forces to offer more consistent girls hockey programming locally. The 12U team is the first of five teams formed under the new co-op starting the 2017-2018 Season.
The team consists of M. Meland, K. Stokke, G. Cook, V. Wyluda, H. Doty, S. Leonard, E. Ruis, M Ostlund, J. Heitkamp, N. Rempel, A. Holm, D. Breuninger, J. Ulm, M. Karger, M. Dembinski and A. Noehre.
