Becker football Head Coach Dwight Lundeen is being celebrated this weekend as the Tom Mahoney Man of the Year at the 2015 Minnesota Football Coaches Clinic banquet in St. Louis Park. Lundeen will also receive an award as the 2014 Class AAAA Coach of the Year for bringing a state championship to Becker last fall.

 

The banquet Saturday night at the Doubletree Hotel will also feature 2015 Hall of Fame inductees Jeff Ferguson of Totino Grace, Paul Miller of Apple Valley and Steve Solem of BOLD. Numerous other awards will be presented as well as conference, section, class coaches, state coach, assistant coach, power of influence, the Butch Nash and the Don Swanson award.

 

Lundeen will also receive a service award for being a head football coach for 45 years.
