The Becker Bulldog boys tennis team held their after-season banquet last week to celebrate another fantastic season of triumphs.
The team and players were appreciated but the spotlight shone on senior Jacob Lukkarila, who went 28-2 and made the state tournament.

• Varsity letterwinners: Lukkarila, Gruenhagen, Bordson, Z. Bengtson, Persons, Ryan Bengtson, Scheideman, Elliott, Hiltner and Isaac Boyer;
• Larry Hladky award winner (for the player who demonstrated superior grit and determination): Persons.
The boys earned the Class AA Silver Academic Award because of their team GPA of 3.658.

Lukkarila became the second player in the boys tennis program history to earn 100 wins (101), second all time behind Dawson Brown (138).
Lukkarila became #1 all time in Becker tennis for win percentage (.849).
Lukkarila finished as the top player for single season wins (32).
Lukkarila is #1 in all time single season wining percentage (.933).
Lukkarila has the top three longest winning streaks in a single season (27, 26 and 25).
