Alaynna Suchy of Becker, Kadyn Dilger, Sofia Lange and Ava Vizenor of Big Lake together with their Three Rivers/North Metro soccer team will be competing in the US President’s Cup National Soccer tournament, July 10-14 in Nashville TN.
The team took the Minnesota President’s Cup title in May to advance to the Regional Tournament in Kansas City in June. They took the Regional title competing against teams from Iowa, North Dakota, Kentucky and Kansas to earn their spot to compete on the national stage.
This U16 team has had a successful season in league play this year as well, going undefeated and earning promotion for next season.
The Three Rivers/North Metro team is made up of players from Elk River, Rogers, Otsego, Princeton, Monticello, as well as the girls from Becker and Big Lake. The team is coached by Three Rivers Coaches Brady Johnson and Ben Goettsche.
