Lady Bulldogs’ Season Ends In Shutout Loss

Fire 1, Bulldogs 0
Becker took on the Holy Family Catholic Fire squad Thursday evening at home and lost by one goal in the quarterfinals.

Becker got superb goaltending from Aiden Bauer, who allowed just the one goal, but could not get any of their own shots to escape Holy Family’s goalie,  Grace Deavan.

Deavan finished with four saves.

Ronnie Deckard scored the goal for the Fire and she was assisted by Captain Claire Rothstein, who led all players with seven shots on goal.

Becker 4, PA 1
Claire Voigt and Madeline Corey each scored two goals and goalkeeper Bauer shut the door on the Lions, helping the Bulldogs win their first round playoff match by three goals at home Tuesday afternoon.

C. Voigt also assisted on both Corey goals to tally four points on the night. Lauren Sticha had the only other assist for the Bulldogs.

Becker scored two times in the first half to hold a 2-0 lead going into the final frame. They tallied twice more while the Lions got their lone goal, but Becker held on for the big win.
