Junior Wrestlers From Becker Sparkle In Ia

Four Becker youth wrestlers made the podium at the Midwest Wrestling Tour's Hawkeye Nationals in Waterloo, IA, this past weekend. 
 
Fourth-grader Kaden Nicolas placed second and fourth-grader Landen Kujawa placed fifth in the third-fourth grade, 66-lb bracket. 
 
Second-grader Bennett Kujawa placed third in the first-second grade, 58-lb bracket. Fourth-grader Cash Stortz placed sixth in the third-fourth grade, 72-lb bracket. 
 
Fourth-grader Owen Angell also competed in the third-fourth grade, 75-lb bracket. 
 
The Hawkeye Nationals is a part of a four-state wrestling tournament tour. Over 700 wrestlers from 13+ states come to Iowa to compete. 
 
The Midwest Wrestling Tour is a tournament series including Hawkeye Nationals, Badgerland Nationals in Wisconsin, Buffalo Nationals in South Dakota and Gopher State Nationals in Minnesota. Wrestlers who place in the top four at three of the tournaments earn a Midwest Wrestling Tour belt.
