Kalie Jergens, a former Becker Bulldog, was named to the MCAC All-Southern Division First Team in volleyball.
She joins two other teammates, Kalli Mathiasen and Chelsea Schroeder on the team.
Jergens, a sophomore at St. Cloud Technical & Community College, has played in 29 matches this year and averages 3.57 kills per game, has a hitting percentage of .304 and 3.28 digs per set. For her two-year career, she has 591 kills in 180 sets and 1,405 total attacks, 402 digs and 678 points.
SCTCC recently won the Region XIIIA Crown and their success has earned a trip to the NJCAA Division III National Championships.
St. Cloud Technical & Community College Cyclones (23-6 Overall/11-3 MCAC) worked their through the regular season Southern Division schedule, earning an 11-3 record in a division that featured as many as four Nationally ranked teams during the fall.
The Cyclones will enjoy the shortest commute of any of the participating eight teams at the National Championships, as the event is held in Rochester, MN Nov. 10-11. The MCAC All-State team will reflect the combined top vote-getters in both the Northern & Southern Division of Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball ranks.
