The Big Lake wrestling team beat St. Francis, 63-6 last Thursday.
It was the Hornets’ 15th team win against two losses this season.
St. Francis got on the board first when Gavin Gould outpointed Ivan Lapointe, 14-8 at 106 pounds.
Big Lake responded with five straight wins. At 113, Cash Sixberry pinned Brayden Boots at 3:27.
Cash Stortz beat Gunner Hostetter by major decision, 8-0 at 120.
At 126, Christian Noble beat Tyson Charmoli, 7-2.
Nolan Reiter got a win by forfeit at 132.
At 138: Zack Smith beat Ken Hollenbeck by major decision, 16-5.
Dillon Browen followed at 145 with a major decision over Logan Granroth, 12-1.
Tom Green of St. Francis got his team’s final points with a 7-6 decision over Carson Gellerman at 152.
The Hornets followed with the final six wins.
At 160, Tyler Dehmer won by forfeit.
At 170, Johnathon Murphy won by forfeit.
Alex Hanrahan pinned Walter Guseat 5:12 at 182.
Brett Bordwell won at 195 by forfeit.
At 220, Peter Duncombe pinned Easton Johnson at 1:30.
Kane Lapointe closed out the competition in the 285-pound weight class with a pin of James Englund at 2:28.
Big Lake competed in a quad meet Friday with Delano, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted and Rockford Area at Howard Lake. Results will follow next week.
