The team traveled to Richfield for the Academy of Holy Angels Winter Jam Invitational last Saturday. It was the first time the team had competed in that event, and they made it count with some historic finishes. 

The Hornets had four teams compete with Varsity Kick, Varsity Jazz, JV Jazz, and B-Squad Jazz. All four teams had their highest starting scores in program history and two of them finished first in their respective divisions. Varsity Jazz and JV Jazz were the two first place finishers while Varsity Kick and B-Squad Jazz each finished runner-up. The first place finish for Varsity Jazz was their first in over 15 years. 

There will be two opportunities to watch the team compete this week. Thursday December 7th is a Mississippi 8 conference event in Becker and then the team will go to Albany on Saturday for an invitational.
