Hendrickson Finishes 42nd, Dehmer 58th At State Cc Meet

Alli Hendrickson and Lexi Dehmer ran at the MSHSL Class AA State Cross Country meet last Saturday, held at St. Olaf in Northfield.

Coach Trish Reimer-Kealy said “It is always a great experience to compete at a state competition and this meet was no different.” She went on to say the top runners in the state competed — including her two girls — “and it was a great set of races.”

Hendrickson, a junior, ran a time of 19:34.80 and placed 42nd, while Dehmer, a freshman, ran 19:50.90 for 58th; 175 runners from all over the state participated.

The winner of the race,    Anna Fenske of Farmington (an eighth-grader), ran the race in 17:41.5.

“They competed well and we are really proud of their efforts,” Reimer-Kealy said.  “We appreciate this successful year and look forward to next year!”
