Bars Exercise
The team was able to put four quality routines together on bars, although there was a “slight mishap or two”, Harmoning said.

The team had a pretty good day on beam.

Lindsay Olsen was the top beamer of the day for all teams, taking first place with a score of 9.1.  O'Brien also performed well and placed fourth scoring 8.95.

O'Brien was the only Bulldog gymnast to break into the top 10 on floor, scoring a 9.3 and taking third place.

“The other Bulldogs also performed well and showed some improvements from the first meet,” Harmoning said.

Up Next
Becker’s next competition is today (Saturday) at Annandale for an eight-team invitational.  The meet will take place at Annandale Middle School at 11:30 a.m.

“Our goal is to continue improving execution and connections, especially with jumps on beam and floor,” said Harmoning. “We also hope to gradually add some of the skills we've been working on into the routines.”

Later this month, Becker will host RC/PC/HF at home Thurs., Dec. 21 and it will be a night dedicated to alumni gymnasts.  Harmoning and her current squad are welcoming all past gymnasts from throughout the years to come be celebrated and cheer on the new crop of Bulldogs.

“It would be great to see former Becker gymnasts in attendance,” said Harmoning.
