JUNIOR MIDFIELDER MACY EIGEN had a hat trick Thursday afternoon at home as the girls soccer team won their 10th game in a row against Melrose, 11-0.

Girls Soccer Team On 10 Game Winning Streak

The Becker Bulldog girls soccer team continued its strong play this week, winning three matches to improve to 12-2. Bulldogs 11, Melrose 0. The Bulldogs crushed Melrose at home Thursday night.
 
Macy Eigen and Maddie Corey each tallied hat tricks, Domka and Claire Voigt each scored two goals and Chloe Rothstein scored one goal in Becker’s dominating performance.
 
Becker 3, Cathedral 2
Laura Van Boom scored the opening goal, Macy Eigen scored the second and Maddy Corey scored the winning goal in the final five minutes. to lead Becker past Cathedral at Whitney Park Tuesday afternoon.
 
Anika Wirth and Maddy Chopp each had a goal for the Crusaders (4-7-0 overall).
 
Bulldogs 1, Royals 0
The Bulldogs took down the Watertown-Mayer Royals in a nonconference match Monday at home.
 
Emma Domka scored the lone goal in the second half to keep the Bulldogs winning streak alive at 10.
 
Becker is 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the Granite Ridge Conference.
 
Up Next
The Bulldogs close out the regular season with a home match against Zimmerman Tuesday, then hit the road Thursday for a match against St. john’s Prep.
Section play begins Oct. 11-18.
