Bulldogs 4, Johnnies 2
Four different Bulldog players each scored goals as Becker doubled up on St. John’s Prep Thursday on the road.

Senior Maddy Corey summed up this year’s squad:
The Becker Girl's High School Soccer program was established in 2006. Like every new program, it went through growing pains and challenges. However, within the last four years they have developed into a winning program. And now, in 2016, the team is ranked #18 in the state in the MN A Class, claiming their first-ever Granite Ridge Conference title.
A great part of their success can be attributed to the dedication and passion of the players. However, the team could not have achieved anything without the help of others. Coaches, Arnold and Gretchen Changamire have been instrumental in developing the program. And the parents, relatives, and friends who supported them throughout every game.
Throughout the years there have been countless individual successes, but what defines the team's success is what they have achieved as a team.
As they look ahead to the post season, their next goal is to win their section games and ultimately attend the state tournament.
Although winning is important, Coach Arnold Changamire reminds his players every day to have fun because when they look back at the season he wants them to remember that they enjoyed themselves. And while hard work is important, it is the passion that ultimately wins games. While they continue to celebrate each small victory, they have so much more to accomplish.
