Becker girls soccer played and beat Little Falls at home Tuesday.
 
The match started off with a bang as both teams fought for the control of the ball.  Becker’s Lauren Sticha quickly gained possession, made a corner kick to Claire Voigt on the other side, for a straight kick into the goal! 
 
Becker’s Joey Rothstien, who played outside defense, kept the pressure on Little Falls, kept the game moving fast and set up possible goals along with Tori Nelson and Reilly Cencer who played a strong offense for their team.  
 
The match continued as Little Falls made several attempts to get the ball into the net.  The ball went back onto Little Fall’s defensive side where Emma Domka crossed the ball to Maddie Corey to score another point for Becker. 
 
Little Falls dribbled and passed the ball down for another shot at the goal, but was shut down by goalie Aiden Bauer, who made several saves throughout the game.  Becker increased their pressure and kept the ball near Little Fall’s net until they scored another point. 
 
Becker kept the pressure up, scoring two more points before the first half of the game came to a close.
 
During the second half, Little Falls upped their offense but wasn’t able to break through Becker’s defense. Becker gained possession of the ball and made another point, making the match 6-0.  
 
Becker’s Lauren Sticha assisted Maddie Corey with a corner kick to help her get the ball in the net and Becker another point.  
 
Little Falls increased their intensity as the game continued and Becker increased their pressure.  Then Claire Voigt assisted Macy Eigen in scoring another point for Becker.  
 
Quickly, Little Falls gained the possession of the ball and dribbled it onto Becker’s side, making several attempts to gain a point.  Becker quickly recovered and put an end to it quickly and scoring three more points before the contest was over.
