Girls Basketball Team Splits Two Games

Becker split two games this week and Thursday’s game against Mora on the road will be featured in next week’s Citizen-Tribune.
 
Delano 74, Becker 70
 
Host Delano edged past Becker in a nonconference game Tuesday night.
 
Delano was led by Erin Norling, who had 24 points in the win. Teammate Kate Ylitalo had 23.
 
Becker’s leading scorer was Rachel Vogl, who tallied 17. Whitney Raygor had 14 and Abbigail Morrell 13 in the loss.
 
Becker scoring: Vogl 17, Raygor 14, Morrell 13, Alex Johnson 7, Claire Thorn 7, Amanda Lindsay 6 and Mackenzie Kramer 6.
 
Delano scoring: Norling 24, Ylitalo 23, Madeline Bersie 10, Erin Frank 8, Katlyn Endersbe 5 and Maddie Stevens 4.
 
Becker 55, Cathedral 49
 
Alex Johnson scored 23 points and Whitney Raygor had 10 for the Bulldogs as they defeated the Crusaders in a Granite Ridge Conference game at home last Friday night.
 
Annie O’Hagan led Cathedral with 10 points.
 
Becker led 33-19 at halftime and cruised to the six-point win behind six Bulldog scorers.
