THE BECKER BULLDOG BOYS CC TEAM finished in third place at the Albany Purple Pride Invitational Tuesday.
Alli Hendrickson, Victoria Kolbinger and ADELINE KENT placed 1-2-9 at the Albany Invitational Tuesday.

Cc Teams Do Great At Two Meets

The Becker Bulldogs boys and girls cross country teams competed in two meets this week.
 
Albany Meet
The Lady Bulldogs captured first place while the boys took third at Tuesday’s Albany Purple Pride CC Invitational.
 
Varsity Girls
Alli Hendrickson continues to lead the Becker girls as she won the 5K race at Albany in a time of 19:44.9. She was in command the entire race, at first being challenged by Rocori's Jada Woods, who faded to fifth.  
 
Victoria Kolbinger ran a smart race, placing second overall in a time of 20:28.2.  Lexi Dehmer returned to action and did very well, placing fourth in a time of 20:42.8.  
 
Adeline Kent stepped up to be Becker’s fourth top runner, placing ninth in a time of 21:46.9. Fellow seventh grader Grace Smith improved with a PR time of 21:57.7 to place 12th.  
 
Gabrielle Imm placed 14th (22:01.7 a season best) and Maddie McDonald placed 18th (22:19.5).

JV Girls
JV girls placed second as a team with  Tate Spinner grabbing second place in 22:56.4, Allyna Storms third in 23:06.6, Alli Garding eighth in 23:20.8, Sydney Stommes 10th in 23:37.2, Callie Doucette 14th in 24:11.3, Kaylin Wiehle 15th in 24:15.9 and  Kayden Westin 21st in 25:13.5.
 
Junior High Girls
Megan Gregory took third, Abby Nelson eighth, Jaden Kraus 16th, Maddy Schmitz 37th and Trinity Olsen-Burkman 41st.
 
Varsity Boys
The Becker varsity boys placed third as a team. with Luke Pappenfus placing fifth with a strong finish and a time of 18:01.6.  
 
Basil Ricker took 10th and Jonathan Novak 11th with their times at 18:26.6 and 18:33.0.  Justin Kringler came in 23rd in a time of 19:05.3, David Myres ran 19:45.9, Evan Schafer 20:19.5 and Bennett Edling 20:24.0.

JV Boys
The junior varsity boys were led by Lachlan Lahr 24th in 20:53.1, then Aaron Gregory with a PR of 21:14.3. Jake Nelson  also had a  PR in 21:23.7, Cade Stommes came in at 21:58.0, Christian Riffe at 22:37.40, Erik Parson at 22:46.0 and Blake Soenneker at 22:51.30.
 
Junior High Boys
Wyatt Hiltner led the team and finished 14th, Mason Doucette was 15th, Jack Budd 25th, Tucker Schmoll 27th, Logan Bigelow 61st and Cole Wilhelm 69th.
 
Alexandria Meet
Saturday, Becker ran at the Alexandria Lions Meet of Champions.
 
Varsity Girls
Becker finished 14th out of 19 teams.
 
Hendrickson earned a trophy with her excellent PR  time of 19:05.3 and placed 13th out of 135 runners. Kolbinger was Becker’s second runner and she placed 34th with her PR of 19:47.9 which is her first time under 20:00.  
 
Becker’s third and fourth runners were Kent and eighth grader Maddie McDonald, who achieved PRs of 21;08.5 and 21:09.8 for 79th and 81st.
 
Smith was 110th in 22:04.6 (PR), Imm 111th in 22:17.5(PR), and Stommes 118th in 22:43.4.
 
JV Girls
Becker’s JV girls team placed eighth out of 16 teams.  Storms  was 48th (22;32.7), Spinner 60th (22:53.8), Garding 70th (23:14.0), Wiehle 79th (23;27.3) and Pauman 113th, (24:23.9).
 
Junior High Girls
The junior high girls ran 3200 meters, placing in this order: Nelson, Kraus, Schmitz, Olsen-Burkman and Wilhelm.
 
Varsity Boys
The boys team placed 19th out of 21 teams. Top teams were Mounds View 41, Stillwater 69, Red Wing 139 Sartell St Stephen 152.  Becker had 514 points.
 
The boys earned eight PRs for their efforts as Luke Pappenfus ran under 18:00 for the first time with a PR time of 17:23.7. He finished 55th out of 150 runners.
 
Jonathan Novak ran very well and PR’d in 99th  with a time of 18:04.3.  Basil Ricker PR’d at 18:07.8 for 100th.  Justin Kringler ran his PR of 18:35.8 to place 127th.  David Myres was 133rd in a PR time of 19:09.2, Evan Schafer PR’d at 19:39.0 for 138th and Lachlan Lahr had a season best time of 20:52.4 for 146th.
 
JV Boys
The boys JV squad only had two runners as this race with Erik Parson getingt his PR time of 21:11.1 and Christian Riffe had a PR of 22:11.2.
 
Junior High Boys
The 3200 meter Jr High for Becker were led by Bennnett Edling, Aaron Gregory, Cade Stommes, Jake Nelson, Cristian Rothfork.
