Boys Shoot Down Flyers At Home Tuesday

The Bulldog boys basketball team beat Little Falls by 16 to improve their season record to 11-9, 7-3 in the Granite Ridge Conference.

The Bulldogs jumped out quickly on the Flyers Tuesday at home and never let up as they got eight players make the scoresheet.
 
Hunter McCalla led all scorers with 18 points, followed by 17 from Lucas Dertinger and 11 from Tyler Lindquist.
 
Little Falls was led by Michael Hanowski with 17. Dylan Lukasavitz and Derek Poser each added 11 points in the loss.
 
McCalla was six-for-six from the free throw line and converted six field goals. The Bulldogs were 17-of-22 from the charity stripe while Little Falls had just six opportunities on foul shots.
 
Becker led by seven at halftime and they kept the tempo the rest of the way while keeping the Flyers offense at bay most of the night.
 
Becker scoring: McCalla 18, Dertinger 17, Lindquist 11, Jack Conzemius 8, Dawson Thom 7, Brandon Gustafson 6, Justin Kringler 6 and Evan Epperly 2.
 
Little Falls scoring: Hanowski 17, Lukasavitz 11, Poser 11, Austin Weisz 9, Joe Alholm 8 and Austin Erdmann 3.
