The Becker Bulldog boys golf team played Monday, then Thursday at St. Cloud.

 

St. Michael-Alberville won the boys division with a 314 at Thursday’s St. Cloud Country Club meet against 18 area teams. Becker (317) finished fourth right behind Cathedral and Forest Lake, who tied with a 316. 

 

Bemidji's Matt Gregg was medalist with a 72. Becker's Alex Stanz shot a 76, good for a five-way tie for fourth place. Cathedral's Max Labine shot a 77, which tied for ninth.

Top 10 boys: 1). Matt Gregg (Bemidji) 72; 2-tie). Riley Grabow (Willmar) and Joey Dahlen (Eagan) - 74; 4-tie). Taylor Zack (STMA), Jack Kloge (Forest Lake), Orion Collins (Cambridge), Alex Stanz (Becker) and Andrew Israelson (STMA) - 76; 9-tie). Max Labine (Cathedral) and Levi Hauser (Willmar) - 77.

 

Albany’s David Schneider shot a 36, finishing in first place  and leading his team to a third-place finish in the team results with a score of 169 in a Granite Ridge Conference meet at Albany Monday. 

 

Charlie Stuck of St. Cloud Cathedral finished with 37 strokes to finish in second place, and his team took first place overall with 152.

 

Becker was second overall with 168, and the highest finisher was Jackson Fluck, who shot a 40 and finished in seventh place. and Landon Bjorge of Little Falls was third with 38.

The boys play at Wapicada Monday then hit the road to Detroit Lakes Friday and Saturday for a weekend tournament.
