The Big Lake wrestling team saw lots of action at the Rick Lee Duals in Bemidji last Saturday. The Hornets didn’t have a team victory, but some of the individual the wrestlers did well.

Five Hornets won their matches against Bemidji.

At 121 pounds, Grant Volk beat Keaton Glynn, 10-8.

At 127 Alexa Guy pinned Landon Peterson at 3:06.

At 139, Donovan Donner Pinned Caleb Arola at 3:54.

At 189, Liam Mayer won by 18-2 tech fall over Tanner Littler.

 At 215, Austin Frederickson got a win by forfeit.

Against Grand Rapids, Elijah Schaller had a forfeit win at 114 pounds.

At 145, Noah Calgaro pinned Alex Grieger at 4:21.

At 152, Rier Fox pinned John Holm at 1:31.

Against Thief River Falls, Elijah Schaller won by tech fall, 19-4 over Beckett Dufault at 114 pounds.

At 139, Donovan Donner pinned Ian Lundeen at 4:30.

At 189, Liam Mayer pinned Ian Hruby at 1:23.

At 215, Austin Frederickson pinned Chandler Pream at 2:28.

At 285, Henry Kuchera pinned Storm DCamp at 1:25.

Austin Frederickson had Big Lake’s lone win against Brainerd at 215 pounds with a pin of Everett Patton at 1:26.
