After the seventh week of play in the Pebble Creek Men’s Club Fall League, Mark Bertrum has tied for the low round the last two weeks to secure the leagues MVP honors and vault his team into first place with one week to go.
Wayne Yarke and Doug Zimmerman lost their lead this week to Bertrum and Greg Konerza, but have one last chance to take back their lead as they are down by one stroke.
Dan Olson and Nate Doimer are tied with Tom Keller/Erik Olsen for third place, nine strokes back of the leaders.
Andy Veller/Rick Torkela are two strokes back of the third place teams with Lonnie Fluck/ Allen Novotny three back and Jackson Fluck/Warren Johnson four back.
Dan Brannan/Mark Staller are at -15, Dustin Kantorowski/Pat Utz are -13, Steve Engelby/Barry Ashmore are at -12, Jerry Vetsch/Greg Mattson are at -9, Ryan Isaacson/Brad Johnson are at -1 and Joe Schwartzkopf/Mike Doerka tally a 44.
Bertrum has 19.5 points in the MVP standings with Mattson in second at 9.5. Keller is third with 6.5 points and Vetsch follows him at six points.
Ashmore has 5.75 points for fifth place, Yarke has five for sixth, Konerza is seventh with 4.75, Engelby is eighth with four and Novotny is ninth with 2.75.
Tenth place belongs to Torkela and Zimmerman, who are both tied with two points.
