The Bulldogs baseball team won one, lost two to close out the regular season.
Becker 15, Mora 6
The Bulldogs stole the lead in the fifth inning and defeated Mora 15-6 Tuesday.
Becker was boosted by Dawson Hill’s performance as he went 4-for-4 with a double in the third, double in the fourth, single in the sixth, and a single in the sixth.
In the first inning, Mora got their offense started when Jaden Ponto singled on an 0-1 count, scoring one run. They tallied another run in the second and two more in the third before Becker responded with one in the bottom of the third.
Two more runs were notched by the Mustangs in the fourth, but Becker made it 6-5 with four runs in their bottom half of the inning. From there, Becker shut down the Mustangs and chalked up 10 more runs in the fifth and sixth to take home the victory.
Cameron Fischer was credited with the victory for Becker. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.
Lucas Athey took the loss for Mora. He surrendered eight runs on 10 hits over four and a third innings.
Hill started the game for Becker and he struggled, surrendering six runs on five hits over three and a third innings, striking out three.
The Bulldogs finished with 17 hits in the game. Hill, Fouquette, Louden, Wenner, Schafer, and Mohs each racked up multiple hits for Becker.
Mora tallied eight hits in the game.
Foley 14, Becker 1
Tuesday, Becker watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover.
The Bulldogs struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Foley, giving up 14 runs — 12 in the second inning.
Drew Beier was credited with the victory for Foley. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero.
Andrew Kolbinger took the loss for Becker, going one and one-third innings, allowing eight runs on four hits and striking out three.
Mitchell Louden led Becker with two hits in two at bats.
Anoka 8, Becker 0
Thursday, Becker had a tough time generating runs, dropping their game with Anoka, 8-0.
A single by Ben Strot in the third inning was a positive for the Bulldogs as they tallied just five hits.
Brosdahl was the winning pitcher for Anoka. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out one and walking one.
Fouquette took the loss for Becker as he went five and a third innings, allowing eight runs on five hits and striking out five.

The Bulldogs enter the Section 5AAA playoffs with a 6-14 record. The first day of games are set for Tuesday and run through June 5.
