Bandits Split Two Games

 
The Becker Bandits went 1-1 and are sitting in fourth place with a 4-6 record.  
 
Joe’s 5, Bandits 1
 
The St. Joseph Joes defeated their Sauk Valley League rivals Saturday in Becker, backed by 10 hits. 
 
Tanner Aleshire started on the mound for the Joes, tossing 6-1/3 innings to earn the win. He scattered eight hits, two walks, one run while recording six strikeouts. Greg Anderson threw 2-2/3 innings in relief, giving up three hits, two walks and tallying one strikeout.
 
The Bandits’ starting pitcher was Matthew Moe, who threw seven innings. He gave up nine hits, four runs while notching four strikeouts. Cam Fischer threw two innings in relief, giving up one hit, one walk,  one run and recorded one strikeout.
 
The Bandits were led on offense by Ryan Hess, who went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Weston Schug went 2-for-4 with a walk. Kreeden Blomquist went 2-for-4 with a walk and Connor Rolf went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Zach Wenner and Mitch Louden both went 1-for-4.
 
The Joes’ offense was led by Ben Alvord, who went 2-for-4 with a sacrifice fly for an RBI. He also had a stolen base and scored one run.
Hunter Blommer went 1-for-5 with an RBI and John Huebsch went 1-for-4 with an RBI. 
 
Willie Willats went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored. Peter Nelson went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs scored.
Tanner Aleshire went 1-for-4 with a run scored. Greg Anderson went 1-for-1 with a stolen base. Brandon Bissett went 1-for-4.
 
Bandits 5, Villains 1
 
Becker defeated the  Albertville Villains Sunday at home, backed by a dozen hits, including a pair of doubles. 
 
Schug got the start on the mound for the Bandits, throwing a complete game to earn the win. He gave up six hits, one run and tallied eight strikeouts.
 
The Bandits were led on offense by Ryan Sommerdorf, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Moe went 2-for-4 with a walk and one run scored. Matt Krenz went 2-for-4 and two runs scored and Schug went 2-for-5 with two doubles for an RBI and a run scored. 
 
Connor Rolf went 1-for-3, earning a  pair of walks, a stolen base and a run scored. Ryan Hess went 1-for-4  with an RBI. Mitch Louden went 1-for-4 and Kreeden Blomquist went 1-for-4 with two RBI’s while once being hit by a pitch.
