Wilfrieda ‘Bunny’ M. Barker

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11a.m. Fri., Mar. 3 at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker for Wilfrieda “Bunny” M. Barker, age 72, who passed away Thursday at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. Fr. Michael Kellogg will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker and one hour prior to the services Friday at the church in Becker. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Becker.
 
 Wilfrieda Margaret Barker was born Oct. 31, 1944 in Devils Lake, ND to Willie & Olivia (Doyle) Jensen. She married Don Barker on Oct. 29, 1966 at the Church of St. William in Fridley, and they moved to Becker in 1968. Bunny worked as a CPA in Monticello, and also as a quality control inspector for Upsher Smith Laboratory, Litton Microwave, and farming. She was an active member of Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker. Bunny enjoyed softball, bowling, riding horses, dancing, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was a loving, trustworthy, hardworking person with a strong faith. Bunny loved kids, old country music, “Billy Ray”, and We-Fest.
 
 Survivors include her husband, Don of Becker; sons, Jonathon Waller (Ed) of Maui, HI and Gene Barker (Joni Schraut) of Clear Lake; brothers and sister, Francis (Joanne) Jensen of Soap Lake, WA, Julian (Sharon) Jensen of Fridley, Edward (Pat) Jensen of Champlin, Anna Bingham of Devils Lake, ND and Jim (Barb) Jensen of Coon Rapids; former sister-in-law, Edith Willms of Elk River; grandchildren, Danielle, Adrian, Jory, Jade, Chays and Marisa; and great grandchildren, Melonee, Sylus, Brody, Orlin, Beckham, Emmet and Dillon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hal Jensen; and brother-in-law, Delbert Bingham.
 
 The family wishes to thank all the caring staff at St. Benedict’s Senior Community and St. Croix Hospice.
