Rose M. Wipper

Mass of Christian Burial was Fri., Sept. 30 at St. Marcus Catholic Church, Clear Lake for Rose M. Wipper, 84 of Clear Lake who passed away Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Virgil Helmin officiated and burial was at the parish cemetery. Parish prayers were  Thursday evening. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Clear Lake.
 
Rose was born on March 30, 1932 in Clear Lake to Lawrence and Clara (Hoffman) Goenner. She was united in marriage to Roy Wipper on April 9, 1953 at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Rose lived in the Clear Lake area for most of her life and worked beside Roy as the owners and operators of the Palmer House for many years. Rose also worked as a nurse’s aide at High Point Lodge in Clear Lake. She was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, gardening and family get-togethers. Rose always welcomed visitors into her home. She would always put a pot of coffee on and offer a treat to her guests. Rose was truly the core of her family, who kept everyone together. She was kindhearted, encouraging, a great listener and an exceptional cook.
 
Survivors include her husband Roy of Clear Lake; sons and daughters, Marv (Jenny) of St. Cloud, Patty (Tom) Lietha of North Mankato, Debbie (Dave) Leabch of Clear Lake, Donna (Rick) Lovitz of Lake George and Vernon (Angela Hoeft) of Clearwater; brother and sisters, Floyd (Margaret) Goenner of St. Michael, Karen (Gary) Schuldt of Clear Lake and Janet (Dave) Jensen of Santiago; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Frona Goenner, Ralph Goenner, Florence Goenner, Clifford Goenner, Arnold Goenner and Ruth Turnquist; infant brother, Leon Goenner; and grandson, Kevin Lovitz.
