Peter R. Blomquist, age 86, a resident of Spooner, Wisconsin, died on Friday, October 17, 2025. 

Peter was born Dec. 31st, 1939 to Vernon and Mae Blomguist. Pete had one brother and two sisters. He went to many schools, as his family moved often. He worked as a carpenter for Nelson Bros. Construction and then worked on his own a carpenter and remodeler.

Then many years as an over the road truck driver. 

He was united in marriage to his wife Darlene on June 7, 1958, and enjoyed over 67 years together.

Peter is survived by his wife Darlene, sons Daniel (Kim) Blomquist of Bend, Oregon, Darin (Cindy Andrea) Blomquist of Spooner, Wisconsin, Douglas (Lisa) Blomquist of Big Lake, Minnesota, Dustin (Rene) Blomquist of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, daughter in law Carolyn Blomquist, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents and son David.

Saturday, November 1st, there will be a private burial at Snake River cemetery and a celebration of life following at Becker City Park from 1 to 5 p.m.
