A memorial service was Mon., Sept. 26 at the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater, for Luella A. Janos, age 89, of Clearwater who passed away at her home Sept. 20. Placement of the urn will take place at a later date.

 

Luella was born on November 19, 1926 in Melrose, Minnesota to Henry and Anna (Diers) Winters.  She graduated from Chokio High School. Luella married Paul Janos Sept. 6, 1947 in Chokio.

 

She enjoyed camping, flowers, bird watching and gardening. Luella especially loved all the time spent with her family.

 

Luella is survived by her husband of 69 years, Paul; son, Glen (Janice) Janos Greenfield; grandchildren, Joshua (Megan) and Kelli; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Eli; and brother, Alvin Winters of Brooklyn Park; and five nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother and sister, Edwin Winters and Eleanor Sparks.
