 A celebration of life was held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids for Ken who passed away peacefully at the St Cloud Hospital, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, with family by his side.

Ken was born on February 9, 1975 in Cloquet, MN to Gary and Linda (Grindle) Palmer. He married Marla Sternberg and they later divorced in 2018. Ken worked at Federal Cartridge in Anoka as a Machine Adjuster for over 25 years. He was hard working, funny and had a sarcastic sense of humor. 

He had a rubber rat that he would love to hide around his house and garage to see who he could scare. Sometimes you were even a victim in your own home because he would haul that crazy thing around with him. He also had a gift to gab. It took him 20 minutes to tell a 5 minute story. He was also able to talk himself out of quite a few speeding tickets.

Ken was most proud of his sons and family, and he always made time for them. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. His love for these things were passed on to his sons, Braydon and Tanner. He was a great son, brother, companion, uncle, friend, and most of all, a great dad. Ken will always be remembered for always putting others before himself and being able to help out or fix anything.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Linda of Sauk Rapids; sons, Braydon and Tanner of Becker; step son, Christopher Bakeoven; girlfriend, Tammy Koeing of Becker and her son Mathew (Emily) Wissler; sister, Kelly (Paul) Larson of Carlton; niece, Tiara Larson; nephew, Joey Larson; and great niece, Oaklynn.
