Peterson, Judith J., 84, of Becker, passed away Oct 14. Judy was born Feb 27, 1932 in Mpls. Her favorite pastime was polka dancing with her husband of 58 years, Harry. Together they owned a Christmas tree farm in Becker, giving customers joy during the holidays. Judy enjoyed gardening and volunteered as a master gardener. She taught Home Economics at Becker High School, using her cooking and sewing skills. Judy also enjoyed swimming, playing cribbage, and the organ. She is survived by children: Linda (Mark), Beverly (Jeff), and Lee (Rose), 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and brothers: John and Jim Bakos. Preceded in death by husband, Harry, and parents: Judith and John Bakos. Celebration of Life Service will be at South Santiago Lutheran Church, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. Special thanks to the caregivers at Cherrywood Advanced Living of Big Lake and St. Croix Hospice. Memorial are preferred to Munsinger Gardens of St. Cloud.
