Judith A. Shermak

Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, July 1 at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker for Judith A. Shermak, age 67, who passed away Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Eugene Doyle officiated and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation was Thursday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker and prior to services Friday at the church. Parish prayers were Thursday at the funeral home.
 
Judy was born July 20, 1948 in Springfield, Minnesota to Albert and MaDonna (Nachreiner) Hillesheim. She married Larry Shermak on August 25, 1973 in Clements, Minnesota. Judy was employed with Sherburne County Soil and Water Conservation District for 25 years as well as serving as the Becker Township clerk for 28 years. She is a member of Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker and the Becker American Legion Auxiliary. Judy enjoyed cooking and reading.  She was independent, loving, caring, easygoing, and lovable. Most importantly, family meant the world to Judy and she was always there when anyone needed her. She will be dearly missed. 
 
Judy is survived by her husband, Larry Shermak of Becker; children, Jill (Ryan) Seavert of Becker, Connie (Doug) May of Becker, Joe (Erin) Shermak of Elk River, Roxy (Tony) Graning of Becker; mother, MaDonna Hillesheim; siblings, Lynn (Rita) Hillesheim, Mary (Tommy) Keith, Loren (Cindy) Hillesheim, Larry Hillesheim, Lonnie (Michelle) Hillesheim, Dan (Cindy) Hillesheim, Doug Hillesheim, Cathy (Steven) Berberich; grandchildren, Sabrina May, Ashley May, Samantha May, Austin Seavert, Eric Seavert, Brayden Graning, Carson Graning, Carter Shermak, Bennett Shermak and Elizabeth Shermak. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Albert Hillesheim; siblings, infant brother John, Lee Hillesheim, and Virginia Hillesheim.
