Funeral services will be held Sat., July 16 at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. and funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Reverand Julie Anderson will officiate.

 

Joseph William Piccolo was born Dec. 5, 1936 in Brownton, West Virginia to Frank and Genevieve Piccolo. He married Betty (LaJambe) Piccolo March 17, 1966 at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, NV. They became longtime residents in the Becker area.

 

Joseph was a jack-of-all trades and worked at many occupations in his 79 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

 

Survivors include his daughter Cindy Piccolo of Basel, Switzerland and two sons Wade (Keisha) of Foley and Eddie Piccolo of Becker. Joe was preceded in death by both parents. 

He loved his morning coffee meetings with local buddies. Joe loved to hunt, fish and tinker in the garage. He loved going to the family’s lake reunion each year and was known for his colorful stories and spoonerisms. Joe will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
