Jesse Lee Wipper, age 49 of St. Cloud and formerly of Clearwater, passed away on Friday July 29, 2016 at Hennepin County Medical Center of Minneapolis.  Visitation will be Saturday Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. The funeral service will be at 12 noon. Burial will be at South Santiago Lutheran Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimmso Chapel of Monticello.

 

Jesse was born in Buffalo on June 13, 1967 to Leonard and Alvina (Schwintek) Wipper. He lived most of his life in the Clearwater area.  He worked as a truck driver and often said he had been in all 48 continental states. He also worked in the construction industry and in fall harvesting of crops. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

 

Jesse is survived by his mother, Alvina Wipper of St. Cloud;  sisters Rose (Corky) Stroschein of St. Cloud, Vicky (Dan) Campbell of Becker, Patricia (Kirk) Simonsmeier of Princeton;  nephews Michael, Shane, Ross, Jacob, Blake;  nieces Crystal, Erin and Katelyn;  and many great nieces and great nephews.  Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Leonard;  and nephew Cole.
