A memorial gathering was Sat., Nov. 21 at Jack and Jim’s Event Center in Duelm for Hunter B. Mortensen, who passed away on Monday, November 2 after blessing his family with his presence for a few short moments here on earth. Arrangements were entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

 

Hunter Blade Mortensen was born to Nathan “Oger” and Renee (Bartz) Mortensen in St. Cloud. From the very beginning Hunter showed strong characteristics of a busy, little boy. He was born with a full head of hair and perfect in every way. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

 

Survivors include his parents, Nathan and Renee of Clear Lake; paternal grandmother, Barb Mortensen of Clear Lake; maternal grandparents, Burton and Connie Bartz of Princeton; aunts and uncles, Lance Mortensen of Clear Lake, Katie (Todd) Johnson of Sartell and Jennifer (John) Hamann of Princeton; and cousins, Vincent, Dalton, Henry, Ingrid and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard “Sporty” Mortensen; and cousin, Katarina.
